Michael Wang is an author, designer, and avid plant enthusiast. Leif’s Gift illustrated by Lenny Wen and published by Norton Young Readers is his debut book. 

A graduate of Boston University, Michael worked as a graphic designer for many years before co-founding DM Art, a design studio that creates and curates artwork for hotels. Michael was born in Taiwan, and grew up in New York City, where he still resides.
