Kate Harvey McGee is a pastel artist. She enjoys plein air painting, hiking, gardening and floating in the waves.

One of her very favorite things is collaborating with her sister, Laura Kvasnosky, to create illustrations for the books they make together. She worked as a landscape architect for many years but quit her day job and became a full time artist when she fell in love and moved to the Coast Range of Oregon.
